Bott Ltd has designed and developed a bespoke storage solution for top of the range helicopter specialist Castle Air – a solution that enables tools, parts and high-value components to be efficiently organised and easily retrieved when required.

Castle Air provides helicopters used for aerial filming and specialist travel, working on some of the UK’s best loved network television programmes – from filming within the Arctic Circle to providing VIP transport on the African equator. The company also buys and sells Agusta 109 Helicopters from all around the world, with customer bases from Barbados to Australia.

Mandy Bickle, UK Channel Development Manager at bott, said: ‘In line with Castle Air’s requirements for neat, organised, robust and visually attractive storage, bott has designed and developed an 11-metre-long storage and workspace system featuring integrated cubio cabinet and cupboards, combined with perfo space-saving storage. At bott, we believe in properly planned workspaces that increase productivity and improve efficiency. Products in the range can be combined to create tailored and flexible working solutions which can be seamlessly expanded in the future enabling flexibility and efficient working.’

Mandy continued: ‘Following consultations with the team at Castle Air, we drew up plans of the storage solutions we felt were most suitable for them. This included some mobile solutions, allowing them to take tools alongside the helicopters whilst at work, meaning more efficient working and greater on-site safety.’
